6-Foot-Tall Chocolate Statue of ‘Wonka’ unveiled in London

In order to mark the release of the movie–Wonka in the UK on December 8, a life-size chocolate statue of Willy Wonka based on Timothée Chalamet's character in the new musical feature was unveiled on Wednesday (December 6) in London's Trafalgar Square.
The 6-foot 2 inches tall chocolate sculptor, inspired by the eponymous character in the movie "Wonka," went on display in London's Trafalgar Square after five weeks of carving.
Artist Jen Lindsey-Clark handcrafted, using more than 100 litres of melted chocolate, to carve the renowned character’s iconic pose, along with a hat and cane.
Set against the backdrop of Roald Dahl‘s classic 1964 children’s story “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," Warner Bros. and Heyday Films’ Wonka will roll out in London in December. The feature musical is helmed by Paul King.
The film features Timothée Chalamet in the leading role of the protagonist, Willy Wonka. The movie also features Calah Lane and an ensemble cast including Keegan-Michael Key, Patrick Joseph, Matt Lucas, Matthew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Tom Davis, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Grant.
