Bro has clearly...: Delhi Capitals take hilarious dig at fan's 'Vada Pav better than Chole Kulche' poster in WPL

After six run-fests in the ongoing Women's Premier League ( WPL ), the inaugural edition finally saw a surface that had a little bit of a grip and assistance for the bowlers and probably for the first time, batting wasn't as easy and the Delhi Capitals (DC) batters faltered in the top-of-the-table clash against the Mumbai Indians (MI). Captain Meg Lanning decided to bat first but losing wickets at regular intervals didn't help them. And, once Lanning departed after a fighting knock of 43 runs, it all came down crashing for the Delhi team as they lost 7 wickets for just 24 runs, getting shot out for a paltry 105 after three-wicket hauls from Saika Ishaque and Issy Wong.

Mumbai Indians too took 15 overs to get to the target and Lanning after the match wondered if only the batters hadn't gone too hard from the start, a score of 150-160 could have been a match-winning on that surface. While Delhi Capitals suffered their first loss of the tournament, Mumbai Indians stayed at the top of the table with their third win.

Since the matches are being played in Mumbai, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side is enjoying the home crowd support. Keeping the unending Delhi-Mumbai debate, a fan came up with a questionable banner comparing food items of the two cities. " Vada Pav >>>>>> Chole Kulche ," read the poster and the Delhi Capitals fans and the franchise's social media team couldn't keep calm.

Taking a hilarious dig at the poster, the Capitals tweeted, "Bro has clearly never tasted Dilli ke Chhole Kulche. Aana zaroor." The response went viral as the fans said that the spectator did an undoable comparison, which shouldn't exist in the first place.

Chole Kulche recently became a hot topic of discussion when Team India head coach Rahul Dravid revealed that the dish that Virat Kohli got excited seeing in the viral video from the Delhi Test against Australia was indeed the kulchas and not bhaturas.
