Kim Jong Un's daughter: At a time when North Korean citizens continue to grapple with mounting food crisis, the daughter of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is ‘living a life of luxury’, claimed South Korea .
South Korean National Intelligence Services (NIS) claimed, as per metro.co.uk report, Ju-ae, who is believed to be about 10 years old, leads a luxurious lifestyle and spends her free time horseback riding, skiing, and swimming.
The NIS report further revealed that Ju-ae is home-schooled in Pyongyang and has never attended any official education facility.
The NIS revealed the information while briefing lawmakers and politicians claiming that Kim is happy that Ju-ae is ‘very good’ at horse riding.
The NIS further stated that at a time when the girl reportedly enjoys her comfortable lifestyle, many regular North Koreans are struggling to put food on their table. Last week, the United Nations and South Korean authorities suggested food supply has now ‘dipped below the amount needed to satisfy minimum human needs’.

Ju-ae is believed to have a 13-year-old brother and a younger sibling whose gender is still unknown.Since November, Ju Ae has been cited in many public events along with her father Kim Jong Un triggering speculation that Pyongyang is setting Ju-ae up to be Kim’s successor. The main is her fairly sudden entry into public life.
Ju Ae made her debut in state media in November last year at one of the missile tests, when she held her father's hand and strolled by an ICBM before a launch. After that, she has appeared many times in state media.
Though South Korean government has said that Kim Jong Un has not chosen her as his heir, he may use his daughter's appearance as a way to show people that one of his children will succeed him in the future.
Kim has ruled North Korea for 11 years now and both his predecessors- his father and grandfather- ruled until they died. Kim was succeehis father when he was only eight years old, said reports.
Some believe Kim’s younger sibling, had a public presence since 2014, and could be poised to take over.
Others believe that there is currently a ‘power struggle’ between the leader’s sister and the First Lady, Ri Sol-ju.
