Maharashtra: Woman thrashes headmaster of govt school for passing lewd comments in Chandrapur; video goes viral

A woman thrashed a headmaster of a government school in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district for having a lewd conversation with her in an inebriated state. The incident took place on the occasion of Dhulvandan on Tuesday. The entire incident was caught on camera and its video is going viral on social media.

Chandrapur: A woman thrashed a headmaster of a government school in Maharashtra 's Chandrapur district for passing lewd comments in an inebriated state. The incident took place on the occasion of Dhulvandan on Tuesday. The entire incident was caught on camera and its video is going viral on social media.

The man is a headmaster of a Zilla Parishad Higher Primary School in Tadala village in the Chandrapur district. The woman first thrashed the headmaster with a stick. One of the passers-by shot the video of the entire incident.

The incident has caused a stir in the state's education department. The man is highly educated. According to reports, when the woman came to know that the headmaster had reached the villages, she rushed to the spot.

The woman then started trashing him. In the video which is going viral, one of the men standing nearby tried to stop the woman, but she did not relent. In the past also there were several such complaints against the headmaster.

Soon the crowd gathered at the spot. Finally, a little girl, who is believed to be the woman's daughter, intervened and managed to take her away. Notably, the incident highlighted the plight of the rural education system in Chandrapur. However, it is still not clear whether authorities have taken any action against the headmaster.
