WhatsApp-Based Bus Ticketing System

New Delhi: In the latest move, the Delhi government is planning to launch a WhatsApp-based bus ticketing system in the national capital on the lines of the Delhi Metro, as per the officials.
The city's Transport Department is working on implementing this system for both DTC and cluster buses, aiming to make commuting easier and more convenient for passengers.
A ticketing system based on WhatsApp has already been implemented by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). After the service's May inauguration, it was expanded to include all of the rapid transit system's corridors, including the Gurugram Rapid Metro, as quoted by news agency PTI.

Instructions for the passengers:

1. There will be a cap on the number of tickets a user can generate.
2. In order to purchase Delhi Metro tickets, commuters have to send "Hi" to 91 9650855800 or scan the QR code to purchase metro tickets using smartphone across the entire Delhi Metro network.
