The Harley-Davidson X350 is the first HD motorcycle that is not powered by the manufacturer’s V-Twin engine. Later on, the brand will also launch the X500, which again will be powered by a 500 cc engine that does duties in the Benelli motorcycles. Harley-Davidson is also working with Hero Motocorp to launch a 350cc motorcycle in the Indian market as well.

Harley-Davidson X350 launched in China for 33,000 Yuan, equivalent to Rs 3.93 lakhs in India

Harley-Davidson has officially launched its first 350cc motorcycle in the Chinese market. The X350 has been launched at a price of 33,000 Yuan, which is equivalent to almost Rs 3.93 lakh in India . The X350 is also the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle that is not powered by the brand’s V-twin engine. Instead, it sources the QJ Motor ’s 350 cc parallel-twin engine.

Harley-Davidson X350: Design

The overall design of the Harley-Davidson X350 looks to be inspired from the Sportster XR1200X, which has been discontinued in India. The front gets a circular headlamp with a slightly off-set single-pod console. The tear-dropped shaped 13.5-litre fuel tank with angular edges does have a resemblance with the XR1200, so does the tail design as well.

Harley-Davidson X350: Features and Hardware components

From the images, it can be clearly deciphered that X350 comes equipped with an LED headlamp. The tail lights are also expected to be LED units as well. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down forks at the front, and a mono-shock at the rear. As for its brakes, the X350 equips a single-disc with four-piston calipers at the front and a single disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear. The dimensions of the disc brakes are yet to be known, however, the X350 tips the scale at 180 kg.

Harley-Davidson X350: Engine spec

The 353 cc parallel-twin engine also does duties in the 350 naked(QJ Motor-owned). This unit produces 36.2 bhp and 31 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

It is yet to be confirmed if the Harley-Davidson X350 will launch in India or not.

Harley-Davidson X350: Will it launch in India?

There hasn't been confirmation as of yet if Harley-Davidson will bring the X350 to India. However, Harley-Davidson and Hero Motocorp have been working to launch a bike for the 350 cc segment. Online portals claim that the Harley-Davidson X350 is priced in China at 33,000 Yuan, which is equivalent to almost Rs 3.50 lakh in India.
