A shocking road accident from Kota was caught on camera.

Kota: A viral video on the internet showed an out-of-control car coming to a halt after it rammed into a roadside tree in Rajasthan's Kota. A group of commuters on the road had a lucky escape as they escaped the speeding car by a whisker, the viral CCTV footage showed.

However, a few two-wheelers and a cow were not so lucky as the vehicle hit them before crashing into the tree. While the bikers collapsed on the road, the animal was not so lucky and was crushed to death, the video showed.

A woman is undergoing treatment after being injured in the incident. Her condition is said to be critical.

The reason for the car driver losing control of the vehicle remains to be ascertained.

The incident happened in Kaitoon town of Kota on Tuesday in the presence of a police party. The men in uniform were among the first to reach the ill-feted car after it came to a halt following the collision. The CCTV footage showed, the policemen ensuring the car passengers were not stuck inside, and later asking the car to be moved a few centimeters back in an attempt to save the stuck cow.
